03 Project Solution
Based on the customer's pain points and warehousing upgrade requirements, Guandi Intelligent designed a scientific intelligent warehousing system for the internal logistics process of the warehouse. It utilizes high-rise shelving to expand storage capacity and is equipped with stacker cranes, conveyor lines, and a WMS system to achieve automated circulation, storage, and transfer of goods between production lines. This replaces manual handling with machines, improving the level of automated production and warehouse operation efficiency, and achieving automation and informatization of warehouse management.
04 Project Highlights
The project's stacker crane adopts a double-extension design, allowing one stacker crane to handle the storage and retrieval of goods on two rows of shelves on both sides of the aisle. This saves one stacker crane and one aisle space compared to conventional solutions, not only saving construction costs but also effectively improving storage and retrieval efficiency and warehouse space utilization.
Using stacker cranes instead of elevators simplifies the vertical handling process. While reducing equipment costs, it enables cross-floor connection of production lines between different floors, promoting automated handling. This saves manpower, reduces labor costs, and reduces labor intensity, improving work efficiency – a win-win situation. Pallet-based storage and retrieval is simpler and more flexible, resulting in smoother processes during warehousing, handling, and transportation, reducing the likelihood of collisions and effectively lowering the rate of cargo damage.
